If you picked up an injured street dog on your way to work, bring it in. There is no charge and there is no form to fill first. Put the animal on the table and we will start.
Long surgeries, admission and implants have real costs. We will tell you what those are and we will look for a way to cover them with you. Nobody is turned away at the door.
If you feed a colony or run a rescue in Vidyadhar Nagar, Shastri Nagar or Jhotwara, register with us once at the front desk. After that, the animals in your care are billed at a reduced rate, and you get a direct number so you are not queueing behind a grooming appointment with a bleeding dog in your car.
Ask at reception for the community register.
Street animals have been treated at no charge by our founding vet since 2019, in a clinic in another state, with no press release and no donation drive. It was funded the same way it will be funded here. The paying practice pays for it.
We are telling you now because you will ask what this clinic stands for, and this is the honest answer. We are not asking you for money and we do not accept public donations.
If you find an injured animal
A frightened animal in pain bites the person helping it. Use a towel or a cloth over the head. Do not put your face near it.
Not water either, if the animal is barely conscious or the injury is to the mouth or abdomen. Never a human painkiller. Paracetamol kills cats.
Slide a board, a cloth or a flattened carton under the animal and keep the spine straight. Call us on the way so a table is ready.
