The visit
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk in during clinic hours. Booking a slot means less waiting, and on Saturday it means a lot less waiting.
What should I bring?
The vaccination card, any previous reports and prescriptions, and the current food packet or a photo of it. If your animal is on medicine, bring the strip. A dog on a leash, a cat in a carrier.
How long does a consult take?
Plan for thirty minutes. A first consult or a complicated case takes longer. We do not run a five-minute queue, which is also why we ask you to book.
Can I stay with my animal?
Yes, through the examination and through most procedures. In surgery, no. For an X-ray we will ask you to step out or to wear the apron, depending on the case.
Do you see cats properly?
Yes. Cats get a separate waiting corner and a quieter table. If your cat panics in a queue, tell the front desk and we will take you in a side room.
Do you treat rabbits, birds and small animals?
Yes for routine care. For some specialised cases we will tell you honestly that you are better off elsewhere, and where that elsewhere is.
Emergencies and hours
Are you open 24 hours?
No, and we would rather say that than put 24x7 on a board we cannot honour. Clinic hours are Monday to Saturday 9am to 8pm and Sunday 10am to 2pm. Outside those hours, call the emergency number on the visit page. If a vet can come, a vet comes. If we cannot reach you in time, we will tell you immediately which nearby hospital to drive to instead of leaving you calling a phone that rings.
What counts as an emergency?
Road accident, heavy bleeding, seizures, breathing trouble, a swollen hard abdomen, unable to urinate, snake bite, poisoning, heat stroke, whelping trouble, and any collapse. Come straight in. Emergencies are seen before appointments, every time.
Do you do home visits?
Within about five kilometres, for routine care, vaccination and old or immobile animals. Emergencies are better handled in the clinic where the oxygen, the fluids and the X-ray are.
Money
Why is your consult Rs 350 when others charge Rs 200?
Because a consult here is thirty minutes with a written plan, a free follow-up inside seven days, and a vet who will tell you not to spend money when spending it is pointless. If you want the five-minute version at a lower price, Jaipur has plenty of it and we will not pretend otherwise.
Will I know the cost before you treat?
Yes. Estimate first, treatment after. No test and no procedure is run without your yes.
Do you push tests and vaccinations?
No. If a test will not change what we do next, we say so and we skip it. Our bills carry a line for the tests we chose not to run.
Do you take pet insurance?
We give you an itemised bill and full reports, which every Indian pet insurer accepts for reimbursement. Direct cashless tie-ups are not in place yet.
How do I pay?
Cash, UPI or card. Receipts on WhatsApp if you ask.
The care itself
What does integrated holistic actually mean?
Modern veterinary medicine is the base. On top of it we add movement work, diet, and gentle supportive remedies where they help. One team, one file, one plan. It is explained in full on the integrated care page.
Is this instead of regular medicine?
Never. If your animal needs an antibiotic, it gets an antibiotic. Anything alternative is added alongside, and only where it is safe to add.
Is your lab reliable?
The lab runs in this building, for our patients only, and we do not accept outside samples. Nobody here edits a value in either direction. What the machine prints is what you get.
Will I see the same vet each time?
Mostly yes. When you cannot, the file is complete enough that the next vet knows your animal without asking you to repeat the last two years.
Do you sell food and products?
A small shelf of prescription diets and basics, priced at MRP. We are a clinic, not a pet store, and we will not sell you a bag you do not need.
